These terms govern your use of the Meymo web companion, which manages the account, billing, activation, and entitlements for the Meymo Desktop app. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.
01Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the web companion, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any of them, do not use the service.
02Service description
The web companion lets you manage your account, subscription, Meymo Desktop activation, and linked devices. Meymo stays local-first; however, some account, billing, and activation features require network access to this companion.
03Account and eligibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and the confidentiality of your access. You must have the legal capacity required to take out a paid subscription.
04Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe according to the interval you choose, monthly or yearly. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless canceled before the renewal date. Prices are shown excluding applicable taxes.
05Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal; paid access remains active until the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may suspend or revoke access for unpaid, canceled, fraudulent, or invalid subscriptions.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to circumvent activation or entitlement mechanisms, not to share paid access beyond the authorized devices, and not to use the service unlawfully or in a way that harms the rights of others.
07Intellectual property
Meymo, its software, trademarks, and content remain the property of us or our licensors. These terms grant you only a personal, limited, non-exclusive right to use the service in line with your subscription.
08Liability and governing law
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at the amount you paid over the last twelve months. These terms are governed by the law applicable to our company, without prejudice to your mandatory rights as a consumer.
