Getting started

The web companion and an overview of Meymo's surfaces.

Overview

Meymo turns your voice into text everywhere on your computer. The experience relies on three complementary surfaces that share the same account and settings.

  • Meymo Web: the companion in your browser for your account, billing, and desktop activation.
  • The taskbar menu: quick access to the main actions from your desktop.
  • Meymo: the floating surface that drives dictation and shows its state in real time.
  • The F2 and F4 keyboard shortcuts connect these surfaces so you can start a dictation anywhere.

Meymo Web

The web companion centralizes everything related to your account and Meymo Desktop activation.

Dictation

Dictation converts your voice into text and inserts it automatically where you are working.

  • Speak naturally: Meymo shows listening in real time.
  • Stop the dictation: the transcribed text is inserted automatically into the active app.
  • Choose the activation mode: toggle (press to start/stop) or hold.
  • Enable confirmation sounds to mark the start and end of the capture.
